When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petition mentioned representation would be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner makes it clear that he is asking for patta not in his individual name but only in the name of Karuppannaswamy temple. But if the area in question is a water body, it will have to be remain as the water body even after the patta is issued in favour of the temple.
