O R D E R

Heard Mr. V.Moushica, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. T.Villavan Kothai, Learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Petitioner has sought for expeditious disposal of the applications in O.A.No.2 of 2018 and O.A.No.20 of 2021, which are pending on the file of the First Respondent, for framing a scheme for administration of Arulmigu Sundaravalli Amman Temple, Sithalai Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District under Section 64(1) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments act, 1959.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First Respondent, on instructions, states that the next hearing has been fixed on 01.03.2023 and due notices would be sent to the parties for their appearance before the First Respondent.

Having regard to the aforesaid submissions made, this Court without expressing any view on the merits of the controversy involved between the parties, passes the following order:- (i) it shall be incumbent upon the First Respondent to ensure that there is atleast one effect hearing every week showing progress of the cases;

(ii) after hearing all parties concerned following the prescribed procedure, the First Respondent shall pass reasoned order dealing with each of the contentions raised on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken under written acknowledgment; and (iii) such exercise shall be completed by 30.06.2023 and report of compliance filed before the Registrar (Judicial) of the Court. 5.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
