O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fifth respondent to inspect, measure and survey the properties comprised in S.F.No.249/4B, measuring an extent of 0.03.5 hectares and S.F.No.249/4C1, measuring an extent of 0.39.0 hectares, Page No. 2 of 6
situated at Keelakurichi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, with the assistance of the sixth and seventh respondents, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself, dispensing with the notice to the eighth respondent, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against him.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for the survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first to fifth respondents, on instructions, would submit that the eighth respondent, J.Santhanasamy, has filed a petition before the third respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer in respect of the very same issue and both the petition of the eighth respondent and the application of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of twenty weeks.

Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the third to fifth respondents to consider the petitioner's application along with the petition filed by the eighth respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twenty (20) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, if the authorities decide to conduct survey pursuant to the petitioner's application, they shall survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after considering the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the competent Civil Court. It is made clear that before conducting the survey, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties and if required, police assistance may also be sought.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
