ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct second respondent to file final report in Crime No.579 of 2022, dated 02.11.2022 registered under Sections 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act, 2015, on the file of the third respondent, within time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered FIR in Crime No.579 of 2022 and that the investigation is going on. He would further submit that the respondent Police has filed extension petition for filing final report and hence, he seeks one month time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.579 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
