ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498 (A), 406, 497 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.147 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. This is a second petition for Anticipatory Bail. The first petition for Anticipatory Bail was dismissed by this Court on 17.12.2014 by a well considered order.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a woman police constable and she is having an illicit intimacy with the husband of the de facto complainant and they joined together and had beaten the de-facto complainant.
4. Since the allegations against the petitioner are very serious, this Court is not inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail. Hence, the petition is dismissed.
