Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Office Assistant with effect from 02.05.2017 and to disburse all the monetary benefits consequent to the same within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

*********** By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The petitioner was appointed as an Office Assistant in the fifth respondent/School on 02.05.2017. The appointment is in respect of a sanctioned post. It is also not in dispute that the petitioner is eligible to be appointed to the said post. The fifth respondent/School had followed the statutory formalities. 3.In these circumstances, the fourth respondent is directed to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Office Assistant in the fifth respondent/School with effect from the 02.05.2017 and disburse the salary grant and other benefits forthwith.
