ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application for sub-division of Patta in online Application No.2025/0105/28/400652, dated
29.12.2025, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner and is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property. The petitioner submitted an application dated 29.12.2025 to the respondent seeking issuance of sub-division Patta. However, despite the lapse of considerable time, no action has been taken on the petitioner's application. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 29.12.2025, and pass
appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
