ORDER

This writ petition is filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to re-fix the Seniority List by affixing the names of the petitioners from serial Nos.169 to 177 in the final seniority list for the post of Line Inspectors (LI) by taking into consideration of the Circle Seniority within the control of the 2nd respondent and to promote them as Line Inspectors (LI), based on the representations dated 08.03.2019 and 05.04.2019.

2. Mr.S.M.S. Johny Basha, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have submitted representations dated 08.03.2019 and 05.04.2019 for the relief claimed in this Writ Petition and the same were not considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this Writ Petition.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that the second respondent would consider the representations of the petitioners and pass orders on merits.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 08.03.2019 and 05.04.2019 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass necessary orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
