ORDER

This petition has been filed by one Prabakaran alleging that his wife Vadivumangai is being illegally detained by her father Balasubramaniyan and the other private respondents herein. 2.Today, the detenue has been produced before me. She categorically stated that she had voluntarily gone with her father and she has not been abducted by the persons named as accused in the FIR.

3.Since the detenue herself has clearly stated that her father or police cannot be blamed, I am of the view that the police will have to necessarily drop further action in the matter. The second respondent is directed to file final report dropping further action in the matter. However, the detenue Vaidvumangai categorically stated that she has got legally married to Prabakaran and she is willing to go along with him. Thiru.Balasubramaniyan also stated that he respects his daughter's decision. Therefore, this criminal original petition is disposed of on these terms.
