This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission to perform the programme of "Kabadi" programme on 16.01.2018 at 12.00.am.,to 16.01.2018 at 06.00 pm., at Koothur Village, Thiruchirappalli District, and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2018.

2.Heard, Mr.A.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted "Kabadi" Programme. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a proposal to conduct "Kabadi" Programme on 16.01.2018 at 12.00.am.,to 16.01.2018 at 06.00 pm., and for that, he gave a representation on 10.01.2018 to the respondent, but, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Government Advocate in this regard.

5.Since the date fixed for conducting Kabadi match is already over, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to give one more representation to the respondent, fixing the date for conducting Kabadi Match. If any such representation is given, the respondent shall dispose of the same as early as possible.

6.With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
