Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 1st respondent from registering any document in respect of the land in Survey Nos.291/6, 291/6A and 291/6B, Mangalam Village, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District pending disposal of the revision preferred by the petitioner before the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.C5/274/2026 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to forbear the first respondent from registering any document in respect of the land in Survey Nos.291/6, 291/6A and 291/6B, Mangalam Village, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District pending disposal of the revision preferred by the petitioner before the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.C5/274/2026.

2. Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed, notice to the respondents 4 to 6 is dispensed with.

3. By consent on either sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since a revision preferred by the petitioner before the second respondent is pending, the first respondent should not register any document in respect of the subject property. He therefore, prayed for appropriate orders. 2/5

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the revision preferred the petitioner will be disposed within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the revision preferred by the petitioner, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
