The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to implement the 7th pay commission to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2018 and pass orders. 2.Heard Mr.S.M.Mohan Gandhi learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent and Mr.M.Pandiyarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent. 3.With the consent of both sides, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

to be considered and an order to that effect is passed on merits and in accordance with law, the petitioner will be satisfied. 5.Considering the said innocuous prayer as has been sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with the following direction.

6.The petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2018 shall be considered by the respondents and orders to be passed thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
