PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to appoint the petitioner as Extension Officer Grade II, under the Backward Class Muslim priority category within a reasonable time as may be specified by this court. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus for appointing him as Extension Officer Grade-II under the Backward Class Muslim priority category for the respondent/Society. 3.When the matter was taken up for disposal, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent informed this Court that one Rahumath Beevi, has been appointed in the said reserved vacancy. A copy of the said order has also been furnished by the petitioner now.
