Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner seeks promotion to the post of Drawing Instructor. This petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus. Interim relief has been sought for disposing his representations.

3.When the matter was taken up for disposal, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents informed this Court that by proceedings dated 09.02.2018, this request was rejected.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that such rejection order was never communicated to him. 5.Preserving the rights of the petitioner to question the said order of rejection, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
