ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner's land had been acquired. An award has been passed fixing compensation. According to the petitioner, it is not adequate or sufficient. The petitioner has therefore lodged his objection before the respondent for referring the matter to the learned District Judge for determination of the compensation. Under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, the District Collector is bound to make reference. The respondent is directed to make a reference forthwith and without any delay as contemplated under Section 64 of the Central Act 30 of 2013. 3.This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
