ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants a strict enforcement of G.O.Ms.No.229, Education Department dated 29.03.1995. The said Government Order is still holding good and it has not been superseded. The petitioner is a registered association.

3.The petitioner in his affidavit has brought to the notice of this Court that a number of unrecognized typewriting institutions are presently being run in the State.

4.Neither the Government nor the official respondents can object to the prayer made in this writ petition. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard for banning unrecognized https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

private Commerce Institutions.

5.I therefore, direct the Commissioner, Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, to strictly implement G.O.Ms.No.229, Education Science and Technology Department dated 21.03.1995. The second respondent Department is having their own official web-site. In the said website the second respondent shall publish the list of recognized institutions. As and when the writ petitioner brings it to the notice of the second respondent about running of any unrecognized institution, the second respondent will take action on the said complaint.

6.The Writ Petition is allowed on these terms. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
