ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the 1st Respondent to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.287 of 2022 from Thirumayam Police Station to any another Police Station, Pudukkottai District.

2. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even though the CCTV footage, which is available near the place of the occurrence to identify the offending vehicle, so far the Investigation Officer has not taken any proper steps by making the identification with aid of the above said CCTV footage.

3. The officer from the second respondent's office is present before this Court and stated that the above said CCTV footage is not verified.

4. The Investigation Officer is directed to scrutinize the above said CCTV footage and take further action in Crime No.287 of 2022. The investigation shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and file a Final Report before the 2/4

concerned Court.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
