Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wanted information under the provisions of the Right to Information Act. He moved the office of the Tahsildar, Devakottai Taluk. It was not forthcoming. After waiting for the mandatory period of 60 days, appeal was filed before the appellate authority / second respondent. All that the petitioner wants is disposal of his appeal.

3.No exception can be taken to this request. The second respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal and communicate his decision to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. 2/4

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
