ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to relieve the petitioner from the Signal Group Section and post her in General Section in the cadre of Havildhar by conversion along with her seniority, as was granted to a similarly placed person, by the proceedings of the second respondent dated 28.09.2016, in C.No.A1/3070/2016 B.O 696/2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that she made several representations to the respondents and finally on 31.10.2018, seeking transfer from Signal Group Section to General Section, based on G.O.Ms.No.1710 dated 23.11.2007. Since the same have not been considered so far by the respondents, this writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on merits and appropriate orders be passed.

5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
