ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the monetary and service benefits for the period from 06.11.2008 to 05.01.2011 as Waterman in the fourth
respondent school, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2019.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a Waterman in the fourth respondent school on 06.11.2008 and the proposal for approval of his appointment for the said post was returned and thereafter he was reappointed on 05.01.2011. Seeking monetary and service benefits for the said period i.e., from 06.11.2008 to 05.01.2011, the petitioner made a representation dated 05.02.2019 to the third respondent. Since the same has not been considered so far, this writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders be passed by the third respondent.
5.In view of the above submission, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
