O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission to conduct the "Kabadi" tournament from 20.01.2018 to 21.01.2018 in pursuance of the Thai Pongal Festival, which is going to be held at Appanthirupathi Village, Kollangudi Post, Madurai District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 16.01.2018.

2.Heard, Mr.R.Rajamohan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmugaselvan learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted "Kabadi" tournament. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a proposal to conduct"Kabadi" tournament on 20.01.2018 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

21.01.2018, and for that, he gave a representation on 16.01.2018 to the respondents, but, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the respondents will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 19.01.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
