[Order of the Court was made by B.PUGALENDHI, J.] The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders on the petition filed on 28.11.2018, under Section 14(1) of SARFAESI Act, within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petition filed by the petitioner, under Section 14(1) of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

SARFAESI Act, is pending before the respondent and in view of the elections to the Parliament, the first respondent was not able to pass orders.

In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petition dated 28.11.2018, filed by the petitioner, under Section 14(1) of SARFAESI Act, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
