(Crime No.339 of 2017) : Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent no.2 to file a final report in Crime No.339 of 2017 dated 30.06.2017 on the file of the respondent no.2 under Sections 294(b), 506(i) of IPC and Section 3(1)(r) and 3(i)(s) of Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.339 of 2017. On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 506(i) of IPC and Section 3(1)(r) and 3(i) (s) of Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015.
2. Since the complaint itself was lodged only on 30.06.2017, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit on instructions that within six months the enquiry and further investigation will be over and charge sheet can be filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.339 of 2017 and to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
