This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.280 of 2016, on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that after completing investigation in Crime No.280 of 2016, charge sheet has been filed by the first respondent and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.307 of 2016 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition becomes infructuous.

3. Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
