Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to do his pooja works in the temple by name Muneeswar Vinayagar Kovil, which is situated in R.S.No.40/3, Uchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to do his pooja works in the temple viz., Muneeswar Vinayagar Kovil, which is situated in R.S.No.40/3, Uchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.

2. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the Sivarathri Pooja is likely to be conducted in the temple, the respondents 5 to 7 are causing hindrance to the Pooja and prayed for adequate police protection.

3.On the side of the respondents 1 to 4, it is stated that a petition was filed by the petitioner on 01.03.2021 and the same was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3670 of 2021 taken on file as C.S.R.No.112 of 2021 dated 07.03.2021. 4.In view of the above, the respondents 1 to 4 are directed to complete the enquiry within two days and to take necessary action in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
