ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to grant time scale of pay for Village Assistants like the petitioner serving under the special time scale of pay by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2019 within the time framed by this Court 2.Heard the learned Counsel on either side. By Consent, this

writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2019, seeking time scale of pay for the Village Assistants, who are now working under the special time scale pay, has not been considered by the respondents. Due to non consideration of the petitioner's representation, the present writ petition with the above prayer has been filed. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed by the first and second respondents. 5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.

02.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
