O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in proceedings in M.C.No.12 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti and quash the same. 2.The matter was listed for admission on 02.04.2014. Thereafter, the matter was listed for more than five occasions, in which, the petitioner simply took adjournments and finally it was listed today.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. On perusal of records, it shows that till today, the matter has not been admitted and no notice was ordered to the respondent. Therefore, it is clear that the petitioner has no interest to proceed with this matter. This Court is of the view that the pendency of this criminal original petition do not serve for any purpose.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
