ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final Report in Crime No. 01 of 2019 dated 23.01.2019.

2. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the F.I.R. was filed against the accused on 23.01.2019 and the accused has cheated an amount more than Rupees 2.5 Crores. Even after the lapse of two years, the respondent police failed to file a charge sheet and prayed the final report to be filed within a stipulated time.

3.On the side of the respondent, it is stated that the Accused Nos. 2 and 3 filed a quash petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4307 of 2020 and the same is pending before this Court and sought two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. It is seen that there is no interim order passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4307 of 2020. In the above circumstances, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report/referred charge sheet as the case may be in Crime No.1 of 2019 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
