ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to consider the representation dated 11.04.2019 and pass appropriate orders to include the petitioner's name in Service Register bearing Service No.84CR025/13250 of his father Late.Mari and consequently directing the respondents herein to sanction all monetary benefits like pension fund, gratuity, IRTT, social welfare fund, etc., within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned Counsel on either side. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father was working as a Conductor in the respondent Transport Corporation and passed away on 10.07.2016, while he was in service. Hence, he sent a representation to the respondents, to include his name, in the Service Register of the petitioner's father, as legal heir, in order to get the terminal benefits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, till date, the representation of the petitioner is kept pending without there being any orders passed. Hence, the present writ petition.

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed by the respondents.

5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
