ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to rectify the pay anomaly and refix the scale of pay in the selection grade and special grade as per the Government Letter in No.57536/CMPC/2013-2 dated 25.07.2014 on par with the petitioner's Junior one Mr.Chidambaram and to grant all consequential pensionary benefits to the petitioner. 2.Heard the learned on either side. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The case of the petitioner is that drawing the attention of the authorities that his junior is getting more pay than him, he requested the authorities to step up his pay on par with his junior one Chidambaram by resolving the pay anomaly, on the basis of Government Letter in No.57536/CMPC/2013-2 dated 25.07.2014. Since, nothing has come forth, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.The learned Counsel appearing the respective respondents submitted that the third respondent would consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on merits.

5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
