ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a Primary Anganwadi Worker at Rengaiyagoundanpudur Anganwadi Centre, Vedasandur Block, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's qualifications, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2018 and for other reliefs.
2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that she applied to the post of Anganwadi Worker at Rengaiyagoundanpudur, Vedasandur Block, Dindigul and attended the interview also on 31.08.2017. However, she was not provided with any appointment. In this regard, she submitted a representation on 10.12.2018 to the respondents. Even thereafter, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
there is no response from the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents would consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on merits.
5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
