(Crime No.23 of 2017) : Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent police to file final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur in Crime No.23 of 2017 pending investigation on the file of the respondent Police.

O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent police to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur in Crime No.23 of 2017 pending investigation on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), however, on instructions submitted that there are totally three accused in this case and that therefore, the investigation will take some time. He further submitted that the Final Report will be filed within a period of six months.

3. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file

a Final Report in Crime No.23 of 2017, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
