ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to the second respondent police not to harass the petitioners in Crime No.17 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the basis of the murder case in Crime No.17 of 2023, investigation is pending and the above said murder took place out of love affair. He would further submit that the petitioners have happened to be the close relatives of the accused and all the accused are absconding and since the murder took place nearby the house of these petitioners, investigation has to be undertaken by summoning the petitioners and except that no other harassment was made by the respondent police.

3. In view of the above, let the second respondent summons the petitioners and in the event of receipt of the summons, the petitioners are 2/4

duty bound to co-operate with the second respondent for completing the investigation.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
