ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The only request made by the writ petitioner is that the petition mentioned appeal should be numbered and disposed on merits and in accordance with law.

3.No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to consider the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 77-A of the Registration Act. It shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The first respondent shall put the interested persons, if any, on notice before passing final order.
