This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents herein to forthwith release the petitioner's APE AUTO bearing Registration No.TN 76 H 1255 from their custody on the basis of his representation dated 20.01.2026. 2.By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's vehicle had been seized by the respondents in connection with a Crime No.225 of 2025. For release of the said vehicle, the petitioner has already sent a representation to the 2/5
respondents on 20.01.2026. Since the said representation is pending consideration, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 3 and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the second respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2026, within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
