ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3, to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2016, in the light of GO.(2D) No.359 dated 05.12.2017 Revenue and Disaster Management Department, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner relying upon GO(2D)No.359 dated 05.12.2017 Revenue and Disaster Management Department, sent a representation to the respondents, seeking exemption from fulling the conditions stipulated in Rule 30(b) of Special Rules, for being promoted as Assistant. The said representation of the petitioner has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed by the respondents.
5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of GO(2D)No.359 dated 05.12.2017 Revenue and Disaster Management Department, and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
