PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to include her name as wife in the pension book of the 4th respondent. ORDER

The petitioner is the wife of the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent worked as Conductor in the respondent transport corporation and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. 2.The petitioner with a grievance that her name is not included in the pension book has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel for the respondent corporation submits that there is a dispute between the petitioner and her husband and therefore, 2/5

the 4th respondent has not filled the particular coloumn in the pension book and left it blank.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the husband/ 4th respondent submits that the 4th respondent is not having any objection to include the petitioner's name in the pension book.

5.Considering the rival submissions, the respondents are directed to enquire both petitioner and 4th respondent and take a decision to include the petitioner's name in the pension book of the 4th respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 26.02.2026 DSK 3/5
