ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard both sides.

2.The only direction given by the Hon'ble Division Bench on 27.08.2024 in W.P(MD)No.19094 of 2024 was to complete the proceedings initiated under Section 78 of the HR&CE Act, 1959. The learned Government Advocate submits that orders have been passed in all the proceedings initiated under Section 78 of the Act in the year 2025 itself. It is further submitted that the encroachers have filed either revision petitions before the Commissioner, HR&CE or writ petitions. Since the direction of this Court has been complied with, we are of the view that no contempt has been made out. We would, however, expect 2/4

the Commissioner, HR&CE to dispose of the revision petitions filed before him within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
