ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2018 and consequently, direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner's wife Valarmathi as his nominee in the pension book.

2.Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel takes notice for first respondent and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 2 and 4. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he submitted a representation dated 03.10.2018 to the respondents, requesting to include his wife name in his pension book as his nominee and the same is pending without any consideration. Hence, this writ petition. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to submit a copy of the representation dated 03.10.2018 enclosing all the required documents along with a copy of this order to the 2nd respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the same. On such submission, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
