ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 366 A of IPC, in Crime No.Not Known of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by one Nachiyappan, a case has been registered under the caption "Girl Missing". He would further submit that the victim girl is around 17 years old and she has been kidnapped and taken away by one Murali with the connivance of the petitioner herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.According to the prosecution, the petitioner has provided his car for kidnapping the minor girl, who is missing and till date not traced.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that if the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail, whereabouts of the missing girl could not be ascertained and hence, the petitioner interrogation is necessary.
6.In the light of the above fact, this Court finds that granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who has prima facie involved in abduction of minor girl, is not tenable. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
