: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to transfer the petitioner's husband namely, S.Murali, CT No.23437 from Central Prison, Trichy to Puzhal Central Prison, Chennai based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2021. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J) Heard Mr.A.Mohamed Hashim, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and perused the materials available on record. 2.The petitioner has come forward with this petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to 1/3

transfer the petitioner's husband, by name, S.Murali, CT No.23437 from Central Prison, Trichy to Puzhal Central Prison, Chennai, based on her representation, dated 24.02.2021.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would state that the representation of the petitioner was considered and by an order, dated 19.03.2021, the petitioner husband was directed to be transfered from Central Prison, Trichy to Puzhal Central Prison, Chennai. A copy the said order has been placed before this Court for perusal.

4.In the light of the above fact, we are of the opinion that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (Records) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) Note :
