ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the show cause notice issued by the first respondent wherein the petitioner has been called upon to submit his explanation on the adverse police report received by them.

2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the second respondent brought to notice of the Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Cr.No.25 of 2023 on the file of the the second respondent which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in C.C.No.215 of 2026 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tuticorin.

3. Further other two criminal cases as against the petitioner were either been referred as mistake of fact or the petitioner has been convicted and paid fine in the year 2021 itself. Therefore, as on today, only on criminal case is pending as against the petitioner.

4. Considering the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned trial Court in C.C.No.215 of 2026, seeking permission to go abroad. In case, In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of 4(four) weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the concerned trial Court, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
