This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct Aadal Padal Programme on 03.04.2018 during the night time from 10.00pm to 01.00am., on the eve of "Sri Ammaiyandi Ayyanar and Sri Vadivachi Amman Thirukovil" situated in Ammanipattu Village, Ambukovil Post, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.It seen from the records that the programme is scheduled to be held on 03.04.2018 (today) itself, therefore, this Court cannot give any direction as sought for in the petition. It is open to the petitioner to approach the respondents herein and thereafter, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents shall consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders in the light of the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and others, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
