This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to hold demonstration on 15.04.2018 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm at Five Junction Road, Paramakudi, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 26.03.2018 to the respondent to conduct demonstration on 15.04.2018 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm at Five Junction Road, Paramakudi. Since no order has been passed in the above representation, this writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2018 is still pending for consideration before the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.In the light of the submissions made by both sides, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent

is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 09.04.2018. It is needless to say that the petitioner shall produce a copy of the representation dated 26.03.2018 along with a copy of this order before the respondent. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
