ORDER
This petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking for a direction to the learned Additional Mahila Court (Judicial Magistrate Level), Madurai in Crl.M.P.No.6248 of 2019 to expedite the trial within the time to be stipulated by this Court.
2. Today, when matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents is present.
3. It appears that this matter arose out of Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act. A direction has already been issued to the Subordinate Courts, who are dealing with DVOP matters to complete the enquiry process, within a period of three months from the date of petition.
4. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that a Circular has been ordered to be issued to the Subordinate Courts and the preparation of circular is under process.
5. When there is already a judicial direction, it is the duty of the concerned Court to complete the trial, within a period of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3699 of 2021 three months. Therefore, the learned Additional Mahila Court (Judicial Magistrate Level), Madurai, is directed to complete the trial in Crl.M.P.No.6248 of 2019, within three months.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
