ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to accept the resignation letter of the petitioner, dated 28.11.2018 and relieve him from the bank, based on the recommendation of the 3rd respondent bearing Ref.No.2018-19/Ro/PAD, dated 28.11.2018, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the 3rd respondent has recommended to relieve the petitioner by proceeding dated 28.11.2018, the same has not been considered by other respondents so far, and hence, appropriate directions may be issued to them.

3. The learned Standing Counsel, who is appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, would submit that the claim of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner as per the recommendation of the 3rd respondent dated 28.11.2018, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
