ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 21(iv) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 r/w 379 of IPC, in Crime No.70 of 2020, on the file of the respondent of police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The petitioner herein is the owner-cum-driver of the Tipper Lorry bearing Regn.No.TN-72-Y-4566. The vehicle was intercepted by the respondent police, they found in possession of 1 1⁄2 of units of gravel sand. The driver has fleded from the scene of occurrence and hence the vehicle was seized along with the gravel sand. Now the owner-cum-driver of the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail before this Court.

3.The petitioner knowingly transported gravel sand without proper permit and being fleded from the scene, immediately after interception, is not entitled for anticipatory bail.
