Respondent PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Revenue Divisional Officer, Tankasi to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal and representation dated 09.03.2019 to rectify the mistake made in the joint patta No.960 in Survey No.301/2, 301/2A1 to the extent of 0.14.00 ares situated at Thenmalai Part II, Duraisamiyapuram Village, Sivakiri Taluk, Tirunelveli District and to enter the Petitioner's proper name as Madasamy Son of Ponnaiya instead of Mayandi Son of Ponnaiya on the basis of relevant documents submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

It is made clear that
