Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members from the fourth respondent's life threat and consider the petitioner's representations dated 27.01.2019 and 15.02.2019. ORDER

The petitioner claims himself to be the Poojari of certain temple, now complains that he faces threat to his life, limb and liberty at the hands of the fourth respondent and he has preferred a complaint to the second respondent.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 on instructions would submit that the complaint was received by the second respondent and preliminary enquiry conducted by them. They realized that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent. 3.For the present, if the petitioner alleges that he faces threat to his life and liberty from the fourth respondent, he is directed to give a fresh complaint to the second respondent and on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

such fresh complaint, the second respondent is directed to enquire into the matter of the complaint filed by the petitioner and take such appropriate decision as may be necessary to protect the life, liberty and right to the property of the petitioner. It is made clear that this Court does not order granting of police protection 24 x 7 and the second respondent is left to decide on the basis of the objective assessment of the threat perception of the petitioner from time to time.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
