ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner has been issued with passport. He subsequently received the impugned communication dated 06.01.2023. In the said communication, it has been mentioned that the passport authority has received an adverse report against the petitioner. That led to the filing of this writ petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the third respondent informed the Court that the petitioner involved in Crime No.98 of 2021 registered on the Madhagupatti Police Station, Sivagangai District. I went through the contents of the said FIR. It relates to unauthorized conducting of Majuvirattu event. It is not that serious. The petitioner has already offered his explanation vide letter dated 03.02.2023. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to accept the said explanation and drop further proceedings. 2/4
